Fees and Payments

Payments can be made at the end of your therapy session via EFTPOS or credit card.

Please note that the following cancellation fees apply:

• 50% of consultation fee if notice of less than 24 business hours* is provided to cancel/reschedule.

• 100% of consultation fee for same day cancellations and non-attendance without notice (“no-shows”).

*Our business hours are Monday to Friday: 9.30am - 5.30pm (closed on weekends and public holidays).

There are additional fees for preparation of psychological reports, and for clinician travel time greater than 10minutes for out-of-clinic consultations. Please discuss these with our reception team if you require these services.

Rebates

You may be eligible for a partial rebate on the cost of your therapy session.

Medicare. Under the government’s Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative, rebates are available for psychological treatment offered by registered psychologists. Under this initiative, individuals diagnosed with a mental health disorder can access rebates for up to 10 individual treatment sessions per year. Please see the Australian Psychological Society Fact Sheet for more information on Medicare Rebates for psychology services. To be eligible for this scheme, visit your GP to complete a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) prior to your initial consultation.

For your convenience, onsite processing of your Medicare claims is available.

Private Health. Patients with private health insurance may have access to rebates for psychological treatment. Please check with your private health fund as they may offer rebates under ‘Extras’.

NDIS

Our psychologists are not registered providers with the NDIS, however we accept NDIS clients under self-managed plans.
